With sheer cliffs rising from the deep to thousands of feet above; Bottlenose dolphins appear and ride along with us at times; seals may be found lazing on the rocks or cruising the fjords looking for food; Little blue and Fiordland Crested Penguins are often seen in season and sea birds such as the Albatross and Molly Mawk can be encountered at sea. The crew dive for lobster for your dinner and you can catch fish for the plate as well. Then we retire to the mooring where you can go for a kayak while we prepare dinner or just sit back and relax enjoying new friends. The chef prepares dinner in front of your eyes with the freshest seafood you'll ever experience! Some say the dining experience alone is worth coming along for. Charters Fiordland Expeditions offer extended live aboard charters from one to as many nights as you have available to explore this wonderland. The Boats Our latest edition to the fleet is the TUTOKO II. With recent refurbishments and alterations this vessel is now a very comfortable and spacious ship for exploring Fiordland from. With a mixture of private cabins this vessel can offer the small boat experience, but with the added privacy of your own cabin if you so desire. This vessel can comfortably accommodate 14 clients in 5 separate cabins, but if needs arise then it is possible to sleep 18 utilising all available berths. Though primarily on offer to our Doubtful Sound Overnight Cruise passengers this vessel can be chartered for groups, families, corporate events, weddings or many other occasions. TUTOKO is our original boat and was designed and built specifically for Fiordland. With roof windows installed this allows unparalleled viewing from within the main cabin which in itself has an exceptional layout. And with seating for twenty but a maximum number of 10 carried this is a spacious and comfortable boat to explore Fiordland from.
